Poor Nanami’s father ran up so much debt that she was forced to the streets. There she meets a man who, out of fear, offers her his house. But the scene changes when it is revealed that the house is not a bungalow but an old temple and that man was the God of that place. Now Nanami is forced to become the “Land God” of that place.
There is an angry fox (Tomoe) who initially throws tantrums, but then Nanami makes a contract with him. Now both of them have to run the temple together. But the problem is that a devil wants to eat her, a snake wants to marry her, and Nanami herself begins to fall in love with her capricious fox. This is the story of their twisted friendship and the difficulties it brings.
