Meet Koupen-chan, a tiny and incredibly adorable baby emperor penguin. His goal is one: to make everyone around him happy and feel like they’re not alone. Koupen-chan has a sense of belonging, and he always tries to make sure no one feels lonely or sad. When he meets a new friend, he has only one wish: to spend as much time with them as possible and brighten their day with his innocence and fun. This is a story that will bring a smile on your face and tell you that small joys are the real peace of life.

Jinta and Suzune run away from home as children and are raised by a village chieftain and her daughter, Shirayuki. Shirayuki later becomes the village’s bari queen, and Jinta becomes her bodyguard. One day, while fighting a jinn, Jinta transforms into a jinn himself.

Upon regaining consciousness, he finds the village burning, where Suzune mistakenly killed Shirayuki. Jinta now sets out to find Suzune in the village, saving people from jinns along the way.
