Jinta and Suzune run away from home as children and are raised by a village chieftain and her daughter, Shirayuki. Shirayuki later becomes the village’s bari queen, and Jinta becomes her bodyguard. One day, while fighting a jinn, Jinta transforms into a jinn himself.
Upon regaining consciousness, he finds the village burning, where Suzune mistakenly killed Shirayuki. Jinta now sets out to find Suzune in the village, saving people from jinns along the way.
