The only way for a human to become a vampire is to fall in love with one. Fourteen-year-old gecko Kou desired just that. Determined to fall in love with a vampire named Nanami Nazuna, Kou had only ten months of nightly trysts left to achieve his goal. Kou’s friends, Seki Mahiru and Asai Akira, were gradually coming to accept the existence of vampires and Kou’s determination to become one. Kou learned that a woman close to Mahiru was a vampire and was conflicted about whether he should support their relationship. Meanwhile, Uguisu Anzu, a human detective determined to hunt vampires, approached Nazuna and her family.

When one of the vampires was severely injured in an encounter, they realized that their memories as humans held the key to a weakness that would lead to their destruction. To protect Nazuna, Kou had to learn about her past.

In a wealthy town where people throw away perfectly good stuff without a second thought, a slum kid named Rudo finds absolute treasure in their trash. His adoptive father, Regto, constantly warns him to stay away, but Rudo just can’t stop hunting for reusable junk before it gets dumped into the Pit—a massive, bottomless disposal zone where criminals are thrown, never to be seen again.

But everything goes wrong when a mysterious killer murders Regto. Rudo gets framed for the crime and is immediately tossed straight into the Pit. Instead of dying, he wakes up in a wasteland filled with giant monsters literally made out of garbage. Just as the toxic air and these “Trash Beasts” are about to finish him off, a guy named Enjin saves his life. Enjin is part of a group called the Cleaners, who use special weapons called Vital Instruments to fight these monsters. After accidentally unlocking his own Vital Instrument, Rudo teams up with them, desperate to find a way out of the Pit and track down his father’s real killer.

The scene is that when Kafka (the same guy from No. 8) was caught, the army was confused about what to do with him. Then they thought that let’s put him in the First Division, which is the best team. But even there everyone is doubting that this monster will not betray him. Now Kafka has to show his bravery in the next mission.

Then suddenly many evil creatures started creating havoc in the city. Kikoru and his boss Gen Narumi were trying to stop them, but the real problem arose when Kafka’s transformation button stopped working. That rascal No. 9 came from above, his power was gone. Now Kafka was in a precarious position. If he failed here, his dream of getting with Mina would be shattered.
