Thirty years back, these random alien monsters showed up and almost ended the whole world. Everyone calls them Invasion Species, and honestly, humans are still fighting them just to survive. Things are pretty bad and the world is basically falling apart, but people just try to look the other way and live their lives.

To fight back, the UN created a special squad called EXCEEDS to hunt these creatures down. The actual story kicks off on a remote island in Mizuho, focusing on a young hunter named Shiina Kuze. All she really wants is a quiet, normal life with her little sister, Setsuna. But then an unexpected accident happens, and she gets dragged straight into a massive conflict.
