On an April night in Tokyo, introverted university student Kakeru Mano meets Koharu Fuyutsuki, a vibrant and warm young woman who immediately stands out from the crowd. Kakeru soon discovers a truth he didn't expect: Koharu is blind. Yet, unlike him, she refuses to give up on life, attending university, making friends, and harboring a seemingly impossible dream of one day launching fireworks.
