Back in the 1910s, military school student Iwamoto Kodo is tasked by the army to investigate paranormal mysteries across Japan. While checking out a village rumored to have "black snow," he meets a young boy with strange powers who thinks his abilities are just a curse or an illness. Iwamoto helps him realize they actually share a common bond and recommends him to his school. From there, a gripping, romantic mystery unfolds as Iwamoto travels from place to place solving dark cases.
