This one takes you back to Japan in the 1950s, right when the whole circus scene was a massive deal for everyone. The absolute best teams get a shot at this famous festival called the “Circus Collection,” so everyone across the country is constantly competing. The story is mostly about a struggling group called the Sunflower Circus, which is run by a ringmaster named Maria. Out of nowhere, this insanely talented girl named Mizuka Tsurumaki joins them, but nobody really knows why she’s there. Working with such a wild, unique group of people might be pure luck, or maybe it was just meant to be. Either way, it’s a pretty cool story about these young girls chasing after their big dreams.
