Draw This, Then Die Episode 1

So, Ai Yasumi is a first-year high schooler living on this island called Izu-Oshima, and she is completely obsessed with manga. One day, she finds out her absolute favorite manga creator, Hoshi no Rei—who hasn't made anything in forever—is finally showing up at a big event called COMITIA. Ai packs her bags and heads straight to Tokyo to see them. But once she gets there, a crazy chance encounter totally flips her world upside down. She basically jumps headfirst into the actual world of making manga, realizing she barely knows anything about how hard it actually is. It’s pretty much the story of a girl taking her very first, messy steps toward becoming a real mangaka.
