High school student Hibiki Manabe is suddenly transported to another world and forced to survive in an unfamiliar environment, working as a support-type appraiser. While not skilled in direct combat, his profession grants him the ability to perceive information others cannot, even if the true value of that information is not immediately apparent.
Initially, Hibiki is lost until he meets the spirit Amalia Stampert, who helps him take his first steps on an adventure. However, after traveling with her for several days, Amalia leaves him due to an urgent summons from her hometown. Alone, Hibiki continues to learn how to use his abilities and makes new companions along the way.
