In a world filled with wondrous and majestic Pokémon, a new adventure is about to begin! Riko, a shy girl from the pristine region of Parthia, travels to the Kanto region to attend Indigo Academy, aspiring to become a Pokémon Trainer: to bond with Pokémon and train them for battle. Soon, Riko welcomes her first partner: a temperamental Grass/Cat-type Pokémon named Meowth.
Before departing for Kanto, her grandmother gives her a uniquely designed, sparkling pendant as a talisman. However, a mysterious organization—an expedition team—seems to possess the pendant’s secret and nearly steals it from Riko. Fortunately, Riko is rescued by a group of adventurers known as Team Electabuzz, led by a Sceptile Trainer named Fried.
After several encounters with the explorers, Riko decides to join Fried’s team, embarking on a grand journey across various regions alongside him and his companions. Along the way, they will not only unravel the mysteries of the Pokémon world, but also explore the hidden power within Fried’s pendant.
