When Yoshida, an ordinary working man, wakes up Sunday morning after a long night at the bar, he has no idea there’s someone new living in his small room—a girl from an unknown school. In fact, Yoshida mustered up the courage to confess his feelings to his boss and longtime crush, Airi Gotou, but she flatly refused. During this time, he drinks bottles at a bar with his friend Hashimoto and is returning home drunk, when on the way he meets Sayu Ogiwara, a school girl who had run away from home. Sayu asks him for a place to stay for the night, and Yoshida refuses because of his intoxication.
Now in the morning, when his intoxication wears off and he does not remember anything from the night, Yoshida asks Sayu for the whole story. Yoshida can’t bring himself to leave the house after hearing about her condition—especially when he learns that the girl has run away from all the way to Hokkaido! So, despite his fears about keeping an underage girl in the house, Yoshida allows her to stay, and their life together begins from here.
