This is the story of 20-year-old Botan Kamina, who is currently in her first year of college. Botan lives in a dorm (hostel) where she meets her senior girls. The biggest source of their friendship is their “drinking sessions,” where they all sit together and talk.
The speciality of this anime is that it features popular drinks from the real world—like Japanese sake, whiskey, and wine. Not only the drinks themselves, but also the music to listen to and movies to watch with them are also beautifully depicted. Each drink is related to the personality or emotions of some character, which makes the whole atmosphere very special and peaceful.
